I specialize in the conduct of, and research on, investigative interviews with children and young people, and factors that may impact upon the quality and the reliability of eyewitness testimony. A particular focus of my research is in the development of investigative interview methods designed to support the recollection of memories and to make witnesses' description of facts more comprehensible for fact finders.
My recent research concentrates on the interview practices of young victims of Human Trafficking and other migration related issues.
